I raced my friends is300 but unfortunately i didnt get same results as u. I raced him from a dead stop at the light. 3 times to be exact and lost all 3 times. I posted this ways ago (5 months or so). I beleive the reason i lost was cause A: i had a passneger in my car he didnt B: i didnt max out rpm. I shifted at 5800-6000 rpm. C: i had 100+ lbs of tools in my car D: My z is a 90 N/A 5-speed with 150000 miles on it so old is hard to compete with new. So when u factor all these out its rather obvious why i lost. But i know an N/A can beat the IS cause i went to e-town and saw a 2+2 beat one as well as the story u told me. But then again u started while car was rolling. We started from stand still. Not only that ur on stage 3 while im straight stock. I dunno but next time i see an IS300 regardless ill race him again and ill rev my engine till 7200 wether or not the engine blows. If anyone else has any other suggestions (racing wise) let me know cause i dont race all that often so i dont really have so much expirience but id like to know some racing tips if anyones kind enough to supply there secret (methode) on best racing efficiency.
